Center for Public Enterprise is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on expanding public sector capacity to deliver broad economic development. Our work focuses on various sectors of the economy, including housing, energy, and transportation. We work as a think tank by publishing original research and policy innovations, and by partnering directly with public agencies on designing and implementing development programs. Public enterprises serve Americans across many sectors of the economy, and with great benefit. Our goal is to grow the role for the public sector in the modern economy by helping to provide public institutions with the the tools to overcome economic constraints.
